A specially formulated mineral for lactating dairy cows.
Vital Farasi is a mineral supplement intended as a maintenance supplement for horses. All animals need minerals to grow and utilise their diet. Minerals need to be supplemented in the diet as forages and grain are a poor source of minerals
Deficiency in minerals will decrease microbial growth in the hind gut, reducing the population and decreasing the digestibility of the diet. Minerals are essential for health and immune function. Foals and yearlings require minerals to build lean tissue and bone. Lactating mares are continually losing minerals through milk, which need to be replaced. All stages of animals need minerals and they are a small but critical part of the diet that has a significant impact on animal performance.
Feed 20-50g per head per day from 1 month to 12months for foals. 75-100gm per head per day from 12 months of age, 100-150g per head per day for adults. To be fed free choice or mixed with daily ration. The nutrients supplied are commonly added to horse diets and are in themselves safe for all stages including pregnant mares. However if the horses are receiving other compound feed or supplements containing these elements it may be prudent to feed at 50% of the recommendation.

Nutrition is one of the most critical elements in farming today. Farmers using improved genetics require better nutrition to achieve the full genetic potential in milk yield or growth potential.
